New Zealand Trade and Enterprise (NZTE) are often one of the first organisations to speak to the international community interested in bringing investment and business to New Zealand. NZTE’s workplace was exciting and inviting for both international and domestic visitors, whilst remaining functional.
As one of the first organisations to implement the PMCoE (now GPG) workplace standards, it was important that NZTE embraced this change in working. An agile, versatile, and attractive fit-out was implemented to provide NZTE with the tools to support and encourage this change.
- Our client took the fit-out opportunity to acknowledge several elements of importance for the space. These being the promotion of collaboration through creative work spaces and recognising the NZTE identity of being a ‘true Kiwi’ who is there to inspire and enable New Zealand businesses to succeed internationally.
- A ‘creative zone’, an area which has encouraged much hype and productivity amongst staff. The facility created has write on walls and multiple meeting style capabilities through different seating and table options, all of which, are mounted on wheels for ultimate flexibility of the space.
- Communicating a ‘for New Zealand’, innovative identity was very important to NZTE. Not only was the use of each zone taken into account, but fun design elements were also used to facilitate the identity. Selective use of Swanndri fabrics, native NZ timbers and weatherboard/NZ wallpaper together created a welcoming, imaginative environment.
